Momotaro Auction - March 31st - Photos
Momotaro Koi Farm held there latest auction today, Koibito managed to pick up 20 fish from the auction for various customers....
As usual there were many buyers from all over the world, and a good time was had by all. Overall, prices were much lower than recent auctions, but also there was also one Jumbo Tosai which managed to hit the dizzy heights of 1.25 million yen, with the second most expensive being just over 800,000 yen, apart from that prices were very reasonable!
We have a tentative date from Daisuke of May 1st for the final Spring auction. This auction will be the same format as the one held last year at the same time, with 60 Jumbo Tosai up for sale. These fish will be kept at the farm over the summer and grown to Nisai. All the Nisai will then be entered into the Autumn Momotaro Koi Show. This auction was very popular with our customers last year, so we are looking forward to seeing what Koi Momotaro will offer for this year's auction. We hopefully be able to inform you inform you all by mid-April regarding photos, videos, etc...watch this space!
